AlcoholEdu, Haven and Haven Plus at UB

As part of our comprehensive health and safety initiatives, UB expects all new students to complete AlcoholEdu, Haven and/or Haven Plus.

(Score of 75% or higher needed to pass AlcoholEdu)
25 and older on 8/1/2016 Haven Plus
New international undergraduate students Haven
New domestic and international graduate/professional students Haven Plus

Part 1: AlcoholEdu, Haven and Haven Plus

Failure to complete Part 1 of AlcoholEdu, Haven or Haven Plus by the completion date will result in a hold being placed on your account until you have completed the required course(s).

Accessing AlcoholEdu, Haven and/or Haven Plus

Getting Started

  1. You will need internet access and audio capabilities. (Cell phones cannot be used to access and complete these courses.)
  2. To avoid technical issues, please use any major web browser released within the previous two years (e.g., Firefox, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome).
  3. Your UBIT name and password is required to log into the AlcoholEdu, Haven and Haven Plus courses.
  4. You will be asked to separately register for each course (based on your requirements) the first time you enter a course.
  5. Use the button below to sign in to UB's portal AFTER August 1, 2016.

Please note: All survey responses are strictly confidential; the school will only receive information about the student body as a whole and will never see individual students' answers.

These courses do not need to be completed in one sitting, each section of the course ends after clicking on the "Next" button.
